The new study plans on agriculture are the focus of the national multiplier event “EFESC” in Spain of the VALOR project.
A total of 24 EFESC instructors and assessors attended the multiplier event, which was held hybrid on the 17th of December. After the presentation of the objectives, partner entities, the quality guide, the various study visits carried out this year in Italy, Greece, Romania, Spain, and Germany, the new curricula for technicians and managers at the European level, and the learning modules of the courses were presented. These have focused on traditional farming, biosecurity levels, safeguarding cultural and natural heritage, early detection of issues, communication skills, socio-economic benefits, and social and international entrepreneurship.
The European Forestry and Environmental Skills Council (EFESC) is a membership organization of industry representatives and organizations which manage and monitor the skills and competence certification processes on a national level. EFESC has been established in 2009 by members of an EU Leonardo Project. In 2012 the EFESC handbook was approved and the organization was officially established.
EFESC’s mission is to facilitate the mobility of forest and green area workers within the European Union in accrediting and promoting the recognition of individuals’ national qualifications between partner countries on a European level.
